If you subscribe or become a member with Bare Science, the Subscription Terms (below) will govern that subscription.
The Website and its contents are proprietary to Bare Science. The content of the Website is owned by Bare Science, subject to copyright rights under Australian law. You may access and use the Website or its content for personal, noncommercial use.

1.2. ACCESSING OUR WEBSITE

Access to our Website is permitted temporarily, and we reserve the right to suspend, withdraw, discontinue, or change all or any part of our Website without notice. We will not be liable to you if, for any reason, our Website is unavailable at any time or for any period.
We may update our services and may change the content on our Services at any time. The content on our services is provided for general information only. It is not intended to amount to advice on which you should rely.
We may add to or remove materials and features from the services without notice, save that if we make changes to the Subscription Terms (see below) that we deem are material, we will notify you.

Bare Science may, at its sole discretion, remove or prevent access to, in whole or in part, any material submitted by you, for any reason or no reason, including any material it deems in violation of its standards.

The use of these articles can not be reproduced, published, broadcast, or distributed by any other party without the written permission of Bare Science.

Where our website or services contain links to other sites and resources provided by third parties, these links are provided for your information only. We have no control over the contents of those sites or resources, so we assume no responsibility for the content of such sites. Such links should not be interpreted as endorsement by us of those linked sites. We will not be liable for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions, warranties, representations, or other Terms which may apply to our Services or any content on them, whether express or implied.
You agree that your use of the Website shall be at your sole risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bare Science disclaims all warranties, express or implied, in connection with the Website and your use thereof. Bare Science makes no warranties or representations about the accuracy or completeness of this Website’s content or the content of any website linked to this Website, and assumes no liability or responsibility for any:

(a) errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content; (b) personal injury or property damage, of any nature whatsoever, resulting from your access to and use of the Website;
(c) any unauthorised access to or use of Bare Science's secure servers and/or any personal information stored therein;
(d) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Website;
(e) any bugs, viruses, Trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through the Website by any third party; and/or
(f) any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, e-mailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the Website.

You specifically acknowledge that Bare Science shall not be liable for user submissions or the defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of any third party and that the risk of harm or damage from the foregoing rests entirely with you.

The Website is controlled and offered by Bare Science from its country, Australia. Bare Science makes no representations that the website is appropriate or available for use in other locations. Those who access or use the website from other jurisdictions do so at their own volition and are responsible for compliance with local law.

4. LINKING TO OUR WEBSITE OR OTHER SERVICES

We reserve the right in our absolute discretion to prohibit any link from another site to materials or information on our Services without notice.
Any link to material or information on our Services must be neither misleading nor deceptive and must fairly indicate our Services as the destination of the link. You must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval, or endorsement on our part where none exists.

5. Bare Science Accounts

5.1. Bare Science Subscription

To receive the latest Bare Science articles and other potential content directly to your email, you will have to sign up and create an account with Bare Science. To receive other benefits or access other parts of the site, you may need to create and pay for other accounts, such as the Bare Science membership.

By confirming your subscription, you allow Bare Science to charge you for future payments by these terms. You can always cancel your subscription.

5.2. Bare Science Membership

To be able to receive the same benefits as a subscriber, while also having early and exclusive access to articles, videos, the ability to comment on posts, potential deals, and giveaways, as well as other content by Bare Science, you will need to register and pay for a Bare Science Membership at the price of $2.99. Payments are made and processed through the third-party Stripe. You may not use another person’s account. When creating your account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are solely responsible for the activity that occurs on or in connection with your account, and you agree to make all reasonable efforts to keep your account password secure. You agree to notify Bare Science immediately of any breach of security or unauthorised use of your account.

You also agree not to comment on any harmful or inappropriate comments or posts under Bare Science articles. By becoming a member and using the website, you agree that Bare Science has the ability and discretion to delete any comments or posts made on the website.

5.3. Length of Subscription and Membership

Your subscription and/or membership will be activated once you complete the registration process and when Stripe authorises your payment details. We will arrange access promptly, but we cannot guarantee that your subscription will be activated by any specified time.

The length of your subscription depends on which plan you choose, whether it is renewed per month or yearly.

You may choose whether you want to automatically renew your subscription on the previous plan you have chosen. You also have the choice to do this manually. If it is automatically renewable, we will automatically charge the current price of the previously chosen plan.

We will update all our users if prices or any perks change from these plans.

5.4. Membership Costs

By submitting your payment and other membership details, you are making an offer to us to purchase a membership using the payment/billing details provided. Your offer will be accepted by our third-party Stripe, and a contract will be formed when Stripe has successfully verified your details, at which point we will send you a welcome email confirming your membership. We reserve the right to reject any offer in our absolute discretion, including as a result of obvious pricing errors.

Offers and prices will vary from time to time and by country. Please check our Membership for up-to-date options on subscriptions and memberships (and available offers).

The cost of your membership will be made clear to you when completing your membership and confirmed in your welcome email.

You agree to pay the fees at the rates notified to you at the time you purchase one of our memberships. If you request to change your membership, we will notify you of the change in cost, and you agree to pay the new price confirmed in your updated welcome email.

We will notify you of any material changes to your subscription and membership.

Promotional offers and incentives are subject to availability and may be changed at any time, subject to applicable laws.

5.5. Membership Payments

Payment can be made using all major credit or debit cards and via PayPal. Direct Debit may also be available depending on your location. Please see payment details at subscription checkout for further information.

Payment types and membership duration may be restricted for certain promotional offers. Please check the terms of the individual offer for further details.

By submitting payment details to us, you warrant that you are entitled to purchase a membership using those payment details.

Continuous Card Authority: If you choose to pay for your subscription by continuous card authority, your subscription will be deemed continuous, and your debit/credit card will be debited at the beginning of your subscription and at the agreed frequency thereafter.

Transaction Fees: Depending on your location (i.e., outside of Australia), a transaction fee from your bank or card-issuing company may apply. Please contact your bank or card-issuing company with questions on applicable fees.

If you default on any payment, we recommend that you contact us as soon as possible so that we can discuss potential options. Where missed or failed payments persist, we reserve all our rights, including to suspend or terminate your subscription.

If your subscription has been terminated and you would like to resubscribe to one of our subscriptions, please contact info@baresciences.com.. Bare Science reserves the right to require payment in full of any outstanding amount owed.

5.6. Changes to Your Subscription or Membership

Log in to your Bare Science account to update your account details. Here you can view and amend your subscription details.

Any changes made by us;

We will notify you of any material changes to your subscription (including changes to the price of your subscription or the frequency of payments/billing period), together with your rights to cancel if you do not wish to continue with your subscription. If we do not hear from you, your continued payment will be taken as acceptance of any changes.

5.7. Cancelling a Subscription or Membership

If you want to cancel your subscription or membership, you can do so through our account details. If this does not work, please contact us at: info@baresciences.com

If you cancel during your subscription or membership period, we will continue until your current minimum subscription or payment term ends.

When cancelling your subscription and membership, please have the following information ready:

Your name and address;
Your subscription information.

6. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL (FORCE MAJEURE)

We will not be liable or responsible to you for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations to you that is caused by any event outside our reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”). A Force Majeure Event includes the following (without limitation):

strikes, lockouts, or other industrial action;
civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war, armed conflict, imposition of sanctions;
fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, disease, epidemic, pandemic, or other natural disaster;
nuclear, chemical, or biological contamination or sonic boom;
prohibitions on the use of public or private telecommunications networks or parcel delivery services;
the acts, decrees, legislation, regulations, or restrictions of any government, including without limitation imposing an export or import restriction, quota, or prohibition, or failing to grant a necessary licence or consent; and/or
high winds or any other extreme weather conditions that necessitate the closure of any event locations for the safety of our staff and customers.

Our performance under these terms and conditions is deemed to be suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues, and we may, at our discretion, extend time for performance for the duration of that period.

We will use our reasonable endeavours to minimise the disruption caused by any Force Majeure Event, including (in our absolute discretion and subject to availability) offering alternative products and services for those elements of a subscription directly affected by a Force Majeure Event.

7. Governing Law and Disputes

You agree that any disputes arising from, relating to, or in any manner connected with this agreement shall be construed under and resolved by the laws of Australia and the State of New South Wales. Any disputes shall be litigated only in the local, state, or federal courts by the choice of the nation of Australia, to the personal jurisdiction of which you hereby consent. Exclusive of its choice of law principles. Any such dispute shall be litigated only in the local or federal courts of the District of Columbia, to the personal jurisdiction of which you hereby consent. You agree that the remedy for any breach of this agreement involving unauthorised access or other infringement of our intellectual property rights shall be an award of damages equivalent to the statutory damages recoverable under the Australian Copyright Act 1968 ("the Act"). Regardless of whether our content is protected by the act or has been timely and/or properly registered under the act, and regardless of whether you are located in Australia. You agree that any cause of action against Bare Science arising out of or related to the Website must commence within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues. Otherwise, such a cause of action is permanently barred.

In any other country other than Australia, you will also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident (including any rights you have to bring action in your home country).

Nothing in these Terms affects any consumer rights you may have under any mandatory local laws of the country in which you are a resident.

Please provide details of your complaint, including copies of any correspondence or documents relating to your complaint. We will try to resolve any complaint with you quickly and efficiently.

8. PASSWORDS AND SECURITY

No password may be made available to any Unauthorised Person to use the Subscription Service; and
If Bare Science suspects (acting reasonably) that a password is being used by an Unauthorised Person, the password may be cancelled.

9. Access/Account Termination Policy

Bare Science may terminate a user’s access to the Website or account where registration is required at its sole discretion.
